• Celebrating 40 years this year in 2017 Tilbury Concrete was founded in 1977 and serviced Essex and Kent Counties out of its original plant in Tilbury Ontario from its inception through to 1994. A new state of art plant was built on over 9 acres at our current location in Windsor Ontario at 3440 Marentette Avenue. This site was selected as the ideal local for being central to Windsor and its neighboring suburbs along with easy access to all major truck routes (1.6km’s to EC Row Expressway, 4.1Km’s to Hwy 401, 5.3kms to Hwy #3) Tilbury Concrete has been family owned and operated for over 39 years and prides itself on providing the highest quality, consistency, and service. This is achieved through three key factors: 1. Market Leader with the Largest Fleet Tilbury Concrete is the largest concrete producer and operates the largest fleet consisting of 25 ready mix trucks and utilizes Road King Ready Mix GPS allowing us to optimize our fleet and provide real time status on such things as truck location, loading / unloading status etc. This information can be accessed by our key customers for their project specific volumes. 2. Highly Experienced Operations team Our Owner remains actively involved and brings well over 50 years of concrete and construction experience to the daily operation of our business. Our Batcher / Dispatcher has been with Tilbury Concrete since 1995 and having over 21 years he has mastered the role providing the highest quality concrete and on time delivery. Both the plant and the fleet are RMCAO certified and the plant also holds a “eco” certification from the RMCAO 3. Strategic Supply Partnerships Tilbury Concrete’s cementious and aggregates supply is provided by LafargeHolcim and admixture is supplied by Sika both providing world class products and a full complement of technical support.
